TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR REGISTRANTS:

This booking form constitutes a legally binding contract and our terms and conditions take precedence over those of any other organisation in every case.

PAYMENTS & CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING

All payments must be in pounds sterling. VAT is applicable to all purchases at the UK prevailing rate.

Once we have received details of your paid booking, we will send you an email confirmation, along with a receipted VAT invoice. If payment is not made at the time of booking, your registration will be provisional and confirmation will only be sent when payment has been received in full, please contact registration@thinkingdigital.co.uk if you are unable to pay by credit or debit card at the time of booking.

N.B. We must receive payment prior to the conference date. If you have not received confirmation of your booking within 14 working days of the conference date, please contact registration@thinkingdigital.co.uk.

Thinking Digital does not accept responsibility for the non-arrival of information.

CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES TO BOOKINGS

All cancellations must be made in writing to registration@thinkingdigital.co.uk.

Cancellations made before 12th March 2010 will receive a 100% refund, less £50.00 (+VAT) administration fee.

Cancellations made between 13th March 2010 and 23rd April 2010 will receive a 50% refund.

The company regrets that no cancellations are acceptable from 24th April 2010 onwards, and therefore no refunds are payable from this date, however a substitute delegate can be nominated. Please note that substitutions will only be accepted if notified in writing prior to 1st May 2010.

Whilst the programme is correct at the time of going to press, Codeworks reserves the right to make changes to the programme, location and/or speakers without prior notice. Such alterations may occasionally be necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.

Where circumstances force cancellation of the conference in its entirety, Codeworks will make every effort to refund as much of the conference fee to each paying delegate as possible, having regard for any irrecoverable costs of production for which Codeworks remains liable. Codeworks is not liable for any consequential loss suffered by the delegate.

SPEAKERS

Views expressed by speakers are their own. Codeworks disclaim any liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the event or in any documentation provided to delegates.

FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY

Please note that for promotional purposes, there may be a professional photographer and video production taking place during the event.

ACCOMMODATION

Overnight accommodation is not included in the registration fee. However, reduced rates have been arranged at a number of hotels close to NewcastleGateshead quayside. DELEGATE ACCESS & DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

We make every effort to ensure that our events are accessible and enjoyable for all our delegates, and we always provide a vegetarian option for lunch.

DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY

This privacy policy applies to any information acquired by and/or provided to Codeworks including but not limited to: information provided through use of the website; information provided during the course of orders, transactions and bookings; information provided through enquiries or by the completion of any request and or invitation for information. Codeworks may gather information about you when you use our website.

Codeworks recognises that your privacy is important to you. The information you submit to Codeworks, and the Thinking Digital conference will be kept confidential and secure once received. The information will be processed by Codeworks or on its behalf under strictly regulated conditions in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998.

By registering for this conference and disclosing personal information to Codeworks and Thinking Digital you consent to the collection, storage and processing of information in the manner described in this policy. Please note that your continued use of the Codeworks and Thinking Digital website and/or products and services constitutes your agreement to any changes to this policy and the website terms and conditions of use.

Codeworks will only disclose this information in the following circumstances:

  • i. where your consent has been obtained;
  • ii. where there is a legal obligation;
  • iii. where there is a public duty; and
  • iv. in connection with the assignment or transfer of all or any of its rights and obligations to any of its group companies or to any other third party.

Codeworks and the Thinking Digital Operations Team can also provide you with information relating to your booking and also other Codeworks related products or services via email, direct mail, fax or telephone.
