Programme
Workshops
All workshops will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday 21 May.
When you book your place, please state which one you'd prefer to attend. Workshop places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis... but we'll try to be as accommodating as possible.
Workshop one (fully booked)
Tara's workshop is now fully booked, but you can still book a spot at one of the two workshops below.
Happiness as your Business Model - Tara Hunt
The business of happiness continues to grow as consumers are presented with more and more choice. When there are several options available, why not go for the path of least resistance? Why not spend your hard earned money on something that exponentially increases your life satisfaction?
This workshop will break down the core elements of true happiness, as defined by the American Psychological Association, and will look at how you can rethink your products and services to make your customers a whole lot happier.
Workshop two
Poker, Business and Risk - Caspar Berry
Using poker as a metaphor, Caspar's workshop will give you a better understanding of how risk and uncertainty work in order to empower people to take more risks in their professional and personal lives.
In it, he'll show how your organisation can get the most out of its people if they're allowed to experiment, take risks and explore their world.
Workshop three
Entertainment meets the Geek - Eric Lindstrom & Steve Jelley
This workshop will give content owners a framework for business issues as well as details on how to implement internet video strategies. At the end, you'll be ready to engage in those hard decisions all content owners are facing.
Technology is the enabler: like paper, silent film, the talkies, broadcast radio and broadcast TV, the internet will impact not just how stories are sold, but how they are told.
Thanks! Your message is now winging it's way to your friend's inbox.
