Speaker Profile: Jamie Allen

Jamie Allen likes to make things with my head and hands. These things often involve peoples’ relationships to art, technology and resources – and mostly attempt to give people new, subversive and funny ways to interact with all of these. Jamie is Assistant Director of the Culture Lab (Newcastle University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK), where he teaches and develops projects. His work has been supported by a number of international festivals and organizations, and featured in a number of media outlets, including Wired.com and The New York Times.
